Career opportunities
Hello there!
Providing support for your needs related to individual or organizational-level counseling, job linking, networking, coaching, or HR/management solutions is a part of our professional responsibility—and I am truly delighted to do so.
However,
The way I work is a bit methodical and systematic, not entirely conventional.
If I could simply tell every career aspirant, “I’ve received your resume and will proactively send it out to various places; if any opportunities arise at my own organization in the future, I’ll remember you and get in touch”—that would sound great.
But,
It would also be dishonest.
Because realistically, it’s not possible for me/us to remember countless candidates while juggling our personal, professional, and social responsibilities.
Often, professionals like us give out these half-hearted promises. Job seekers take them at face value and later feel disappointed when there’s no outcome.
Please remember,
Making a personal promise to get you a job is, in truth, deceptive.
You have to put in the effort yourself.
The belief that “Seniors can get me a job anytime if they want, and they’re just not helping” is a dangerous misconception.
I,
along with a few like-minded professionals, operate a telegram group called CAMP: Career and Management Proficiency, with the goal of providing free support to enthusiastic individuals within our limited capacity.
We share job ads from our own organizations as well as any that come to our attention—whether through our networks or when someone seeks our help to recruit.
Even if I forget about you individually, you will still receive updates on opportunities we’re aware of and can use them to your advantage.
In addition, this group shares:
Career-related links and training,
Life coaching and counseling,
Social/personal counseling,
Skill-building and grooming,
Career preparation and career counseling,
Management system aid,
and even posts on problem-solving and success stories.
You are encouraged to share your thoughts or questions too. I’ll either respond directly or help find the answers. All free of cost.
Now ask yourself:
Can I/we really remember each and every job seeker individually and link them to jobs personally?
Isn’t it better that you take charge of your own follow-up, while I/we take responsibility to guide and link you when possible?
But first, you must ensure that you are qualified in the essential areas required to land a job—particularly:
English and communication skills
ICT and technology proficiency
Smartness, seriousness, and sharpness
Both soft and hard skills
If you are not qualified in these areas, or if you lack patience, it will be impossible for me/us to help you secure a job.
We’ve often seen cases where—after a lot of effort—we refer a candidate, only for the interview to reveal that they are not qualified at all.
So start by becoming a member of the CAMP group. Then:
Interact regularly
Write posts, share thoughts
Build your visibility
Stay updated
Apply when you see relevant job posts
Consult us when needed
Seek advice to improve your career skills
Participate in our learning sessions
It’s hard to refer someone who is either barely known or completely unknown, right?
So—if you want to become part of my/our network, then…please-
a. inbox (in WApp/LI)
1. Your expected position, dept. & salary 2. Your latest desg. 3. Your total career duration; 4. Years you’ve worked in RMG; 5. Woven or Knit or sweater; 6. Tops or bottoms; 7. Education;
